About me

My name is Ben. I am a social psychologist/athlete/writer. I live in Portland, Oregon and I am employed by Kaiser Permanente, where I am employed as an Informational Technician (Honestly it’s just a catch all for “help others with computer stuff”)

Research and resume/CV

My research focuses on how informal rhetoric (slang language) may influence a variety of motivations which lead to behavioral changes, this involves a combination of mixed method statistics and natural language processing. I also consult for research/policy/private industry and teach spin class. I am fluent in R and all of the posts that you see have been written and exported through Rmarkdown.
